| Hallo, hallo~! I'm trying to generate some interest for these ideas for a nice roleplay here on the Japanimation forum. These ideas are some that have been running through my head for quite awhile now and I've been dying to start one. Each idea will be in a spoiler below about its general plot. Most of these will rather be small because I know, in a free-for-all/walk-in type of roleplay; it can get kinda intimidating with lots of people. Feel free to voice your opinions about them, make suggestions, and whatnot. If you are interested in roleplaying and don't know how to play/start, check out this little How to Roleplay - Crimson Snow:
(dark modern times, drama, romance(?))
(AU) The role of Snow White is a young girl who had been kidnapped in her early teens to be sold into human trafficking by the Evil Queen. But because of her flawless complexion and beauty, she was spared from cheapskates and became the Queen's captive from prying eyes. Though the true reason why Snow White is there is unknown expect to the Mirror, the Queen, and the Surgeon. Little does she know that her days of peace would come to an end when a certain customer enters the business. Prince Charming a notorious and frequent customer of the Queen's business offers to buy Snow White for his own nasty purposes. Scared for her life, Snow White flees from the headquarters of the business and tries to escape the Queen's clutches. Her absence causes the Queen to go berserk at the lost of her precious merchandise and orders her right hand The Huntsman to retrieve her without a single scratch. Along the way, she befriends the seven dwarfs a mixed group of former criminals who had escaped prison and been laying low for the last few years.
What is Snow White's true purpose in this game of cat and mice? Everything will be told, all in due time.
- Bushin:
(modern times, action, competition)
In Japanese culture, they used the term bushin to decribe someone with the mind and intention to stop a sword mid-swing; or to emit a warrior's spirit so strong that he stops his foes in their tracks. Of course, not everyone can do this. Supposedly only famous warrior folks are capable of that and there are million of legendary heroes and villains who fit the bill, no matter where they come from, who they are, or what occupation they previously were in.
Fast forward to present-day where all this bushin BS has been replaced with the irrational fear of guns and artillery. No one really recalls any of these famous people and all is there left is historical records to be read in school. They're just fantasy, not true people. But what if their soul actually lives on? That's right, unbeknownst to the general public, there are a select few who have these warriors reside inside their soul; occupying their human host and guiding along life. With the correct usage of these souls, an individual an unleash their true talent; whether it may be excelling in strategic planning, unleashing physical damage, or creating weapons. Whoever your soul maybe, reflects on each person as an individual, whether they choose to accept this soul or not. Will you accept your true self and seek others with the same potential, or will you stand idle and discard your true potential for a mundane life?
And what if seeking out others also means throwing yourself into an underground tournament that might cost your life?

| Some more roleplay ideas I had in the past aimed for larger groups of people (around 10-14). They're more fully developed compared to the three others I posted above, so I tried to summarize what most of them were about. You can read each one more in-depth here. - To Death's Amusement:
(horror, action, punishment game, drama)
In the 21st century, Death is bored with humans. Throughout time, he's always been beside humans for the longest time; being the essence of mortality. But now, things have changed with people and technology; including advances in science that hint the breakthrough of mortality and immortality. Now Death isn't pleased with his fact and his devious cousin Beelzebub knows this. Beelzebub, a demon who enjoys seeing humans suffer convinces Death to play a little game with the humans. A game that would put them in their place once and for all.
Thrilled with this aspect, Death decides to start a game. Summoning his most faithful advisors, the cardinal sins (lust, greed, gluttony, etc.), he dispatches them to gather 2 souls in Hell that represent the sin to the extreme (ex. a man so wrathful of political enemies he commits murder and dismembers body parts; a woman so envious of other people's fortunes that she tries her luck by selling children on the black market). These 14 souls are sent to Death and are offered a chance to be reincarnated and live again in the real world for one week. But there's a catch, they must kill one another to secure their chances of ever actually winning the game. The last one standing will be granted full reincarnation and live another life in the real world while the rest continue to wander in Hell.
- Lock On!:
(action, light-sci, school life)
In the not so distance future, a mysterious vessel has landed on Earth, specifically in Japan on Mt. Fuji. This vessel had belonged to aliens that NASA had been tracking for a few months. Eager to meet their visitors, the world went crazy when they found the location of the vessel, but were greeted with a letter from the aliens that threatened to destroy the Earth within a year. The Japanese government sent out their best forces to hunt these aliens down and refused for international support; but their forces was soon dwindling when the aliens proved themselves to be quite capable of fighting and killing humans. Because of the chaos, the aliens had blended into society and vanished off the map, disguising themselves as humans and roaming all over Japan.
6 months later, the Japanese government had finally located the aliens at a small town at the base of Mt. Fuji. They believed these aliens had infiltrated the local high school there and sent out four agents to handle the problem. This team consists of the most elite people from both inside and outside of Japan. Their job: to infiltrate the local high school as well, sniff out the aliens, and exterminate them as quickly as possible. - Redemption:
(action, horror, punishment game)
Taken after a few years of the Sword Art Online shut-down. The Japanese government has taken the game into their own hands, deleting all evidence of the game to avoid the tragedy of trapping people in a MMO and forcing them to die from ever happening again. But one ambitious politicians suggests the absurd: to use this game to trap Japan's criminals inside this game and force them to play a death match. Japan has been accumulating more criminals these last few years than ever before to the point that the prisons have been overflowing, and the government was forced to release some to make room for more. Thrilled with this idea and not having to deal with individual executions, the Japanese government put this game into action. To recreate the game in a modern-world that reflects today's society as the main backdrop of this game and to force prisoners to run rampart in this game while trying to reach Heaven's Elevator (goal of the game) and avoiding mercenaries sent to kill them.
