I say we start this movement where we use anime references as mnemonic devices to remember material for class.

Like in Physics, there's a very important formula: Force = Mass x Acceleration
The only reason why I remember it is because Fullmetal Alchemist
Get it
Fullmetal Alchemist
FMA
F=MA
Force = Mass x Acceleration
HAHAHAHAHAHA

My cousin had this book once called the Anime Guide to Physics. Actually quite interesting because it really did teach physics.

Someone please convince Raskin to show Hetalia during APEC. I mean all you do after the AP Exam is watch movies anyway.

One of my friends memorized the stages of mitosis using Eevee evolutions.

Back in AP Chemistry, one of my classmates used this as a substitute for the boring old periodic table: Click

Did I ever tell you about the time that I answered a Quiz Bowl question after the first hint because of anime?

When anime helps you in school... 1zyejo8

Only reason why I know the Tower Bridge is in London

Oh my god I am such a nerd/geek.

That is awesome! FMA is F = MxA
Genius. Also congratulations on being able to answer a quiz bowl question thanks to an anime.

I'm pretty sure we're all nerds/geeks here.

Apparently back in 2012, at Osaka High School, a teacher used One Piece as an example to explain about civil rights. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2012-03-05/one-piece-anime-helps-teach-human-rights-in-high-school

I remember a game called Civilization V helped me remember a bunch of World Wonders/Ancient Wonders for Honors Humanities like The Great Pyramids, The Hanging Gardens, The Colossus, The Pantheon, The Great Light House, The Oracle and so forth.

I don't remember, but something from an anime helped me with APUSH but I forgot =w=

YES EDUCATION THROUGH ANIME //shot
That FMA one is freaking brilliant.

I'm in Raskin this trimester, so I'll see if I can convince him to let us watch Hetalia afterwards.

As for things I learned through anime....
- buttloads of "politically-incorrect" Japanese history
Spoiler:

I couldn't provide enough examples because it's been so long since I last came across those XD

I heard from a friend a few years back how she learned Pascal's triangle through Zombie Loan the anime...

Kwok-Wai: Haha, reminds me of this!

Dude, if I were a teacher, I would totally make up questions with tons of Pokemon references...

I remember someone in my APEC class telling Raskin that he studied for his final by playing Assassin's Creed. xDDD

Agnes: I would love to see Raskin's reaction to Hetalia. Don't know if he would be appalled, entertained, or just weirded out. Or maybe some combination of the three. xDDD
(Did you enjoy our wonderful singing on his birthday, by the way?)

Haven't seen it yet, but apparently Blast of Tempest has a lot of Shakespeare references? ;DDDD
