Project Orion Main RP Topic

The first mission that project Orion has made for a member or two to test thier collaboration, the mission is to infiltrate and kill a CEO of an oil company and insurance company. The company had cheated many of their subject causing them to loose money and live in the slum. Currently the tower that hold such a person is having a part in the same day, invitations where sent out and the team has gotten ahold of one.

Mission Start.....

Raiden let out a deep breath, mentally bracing himself for the mission ahead. He despised the tight, restrictive nature of his suit, but he tried to ignore it as he flashed his invitation to one men at the door. "Hold it," The man said as he grabbed Raiden's arm, "What about this woman?" He then jerked his thumb in the direction of a young lady with dark hair and an orange highlight.

Raiden turned and saw his partner and quickly responded, "Don't worry sir, she's with me." As the two walked into the lobby, he whispered to her, "That was close."

" Don't get you pants in a bunch" she said back " Just act natural" . She was in her formal attire with her black dress and disguised knives. She smiled lightl like any other person. She seemed to draw a good form of attention around her.

Heeding her advice, Raiden put on a smile whispered back, "So, what floor is this guy on?" In his head, Raiden was formulating an escape plan, its success hinging on how quickly and quietly the duo could kill the CEO. "This is a pretty tall building, so I'm guessing our victim will be somewhere near the top."

" Floor 89" she answered, she held out a key card " From a few friends"

"Thanks, I appreciate the planning," Raiden took the key card and slid it down the key register in the elevator. After the card was accepted, he punched in the button for floor 89 and the elevator started to ascend. As they stood in the elevator listening to the music, he asked her, "So, I assume you have a plan to kill him?"

She shook her head, as she quietly pointed to a security camera above them.

"Don't worry, security cameras are in video only, no sound. Regardless, we should still be careful. I'm probably going to make up a plan as we go." Raiden said nonchalantly, apparently confident in his abilities and his trust in his new partner. "Ah, we're here." He remarked as the doors dinged open, revealing a large party with many aristocrats, entertainers, and most importantly, the target.

She nods as she pointed at a man with grey white hair and a pink suit " So many crimes of fashion" she said disapprovingly

"Do it when I give you the signal," Raiden told her as they approached the man in the pink suit. He put on a smile and amiably said, "Hello sir! I'm the representative of  Lighting Trigger Weapons Industry and this is my secretary," He gestured to his partner and continued on, "I'm here because my boss would like to discuss some business offers that he put forward. Do you have a room where we could talk privately?"

The grey haired man spoke with a certain dignity and was discreetly flaunting his money, pointing to his gold rings and expensive wine. "Ahh, yes, your boss contacted me about this, and I have prepared a room in advance. This way please."

As the two followed him, he whispered quietly, "Your turn."

She nods as they enter a large room, with pouch velvet couches and crystal chandeleirs, that castes the room into a soft glow. She smiled lightly as she saw a fireplace, she looked around for and cameras and bugs. She tapped her shoulder three times, signaling the amount of minutes it would take for the bots and bodyguards will come. She then took a quick step toward the man then, silence. Her plasma blade slipped right through his neck as she then mouthed 'Run' .

"You should do your shape-shifting thing, I can get away from these guys." She told him to run, but she didn't need to; it was the thing he did the best. He scrambled through the people to an emergency staircase and made it to the roof. "Hey! Dead end, you killer!" cried out the bodyguards and bots that had successfully followed him and not his partner from the scene of the murder.

"Sorry guys," Raiden said nonchalantly, "But today's not your lucky day," He turned and jumped off the building, falling a short distance before catching a wire suspended between the building and the one adjacent to it. Sliding down the cable, he let go and landed on a lower building, and proceeded to the meeting point that he and his partner had established before.

Katherine quickly disposed of the body pushing it into the fireplace, she threw a vial of a strange red liquid. The bodyguard stormed in but where only held back by the erupting flames. " Goodbye" she said as she broke open one of the large windows and hopped out onto one of the balconies of another building. "Sir we are approaching rendevouz point send back up" she said at an earpiece.

Raiden was the first to arrive at the meeting point, a small abandoned building in the industrial district, home to many craftsmen making their respective wares. Checking over his shoulder for his pursuers, Raiden cracked open the door, peeked in, then entered. In sight, there were multiple tables and racks, full of equipment. "Finally, I get to change out of this monkey suit." Raiden sighed loudly. Within minutes, he was in his usual garb; a black shirt, his personalized white cargo pants with a single blue line down both sides, a pair of special boots, and his signature blue fingerless gloves. He was just finishing lacing up his boots as he heard the door creak open.

Katherine looked at her watch and looked behind her "Shoot" she said as one of the light the emitted from the airship landed on her. Large metal bots came down and started shooting.

Int the warehouse as the door creaked open it showed a girl that definitely didn't look like katherine. She spinned her blade and threw it at Raiden.

Raiden's bionic eye saw the blade come towards him, and he skillfully dodged the blade, although by a narrow margin. "And I thought this place was a 'secret' meeting point." He groaned distastefully. Fortunately, the building was littered with tables and railings, perfect for his self made fusion of Parkour and Savate. He sprinted off towards the mysterious girl, and slid under the table in front of her, and when he came out from under it, he launched a kick straight for her chin.

The girl did a flip back before throwing more daggers at him, and took out a shotgun.

Although his eye helped him recognize patterns and threats more quickly, Raiden can't process the information if he isn't calm, and at the moment, he was definitely not calm. He quickly ran behind a wall to dodge some gunfire and proceeded to the hit all the light switches in the building. Raiden chuckled softly for a little as his eye went into Night Vision Mode, "You can't see me, but I can." He silently climbed to the top of the rafters, picking out spots for him to hide and spots for potential ambush. "You sneaky little fox, where are you?" He thought, as he quickly and quietly moved to a different vantage point.

A loud shot can be heard as Katherine was on a ledge of a building not far. The girl slumped down and sirens can be heard getting closer.

Raiden saw the girl get shot and traced the bullet's path back to Katherine's position and gave her a thumbs up. "Man, that girl's always got my back," Raiden mumbled as he set to pouring acid on the body to hide the evidence. Hearing the oncoming sirens, he bolted out the back door and started sprinting in Katherine's direction, taking shortcuts and climbing up buildings and pretty soon, he was there. "Hey, thanks for the save back there, but I could've handled it." He said mockingly. "I gave them a false trail, but I'm sure they'll see through it soon."

Katherine nods, as she put her sniper rifle back to where it was, she was running onto he rooftop. Still in her formal atire, yet her stilettos seemed to barley make any noise.

As Raiden flawlessly followed after her, he asked, "So we're gonna meet up with the boss now?" He looked around for cops, but there was no sign of them. "Looks like they fell for the old 'fake a bullet wound and leave a blood trail' gimmick." He laughed.

Katherine nods as she saw a dark shadow cast over them and a space craft materialize. They where getting to the edge of the building and there was one thing left to do.'Jump'

"Yes ma'am," replied Raiden in a fake army accent as he somersaulted over the edge and landed on a conveniently placed space craft. "Nice going, calling in the ship." he applauded as she landed next to him.

She nods before opening a hatch and jumping in. She went op to one of the seats new to the pilot, before saying. Sir we are on our way
