SAO Rolplay: Continuum

"Casey reported organization activity on level 45, 67, and 68. Gamma got some information out of a prisoner we captured last week. Though most of it was info we already know. Theta is thinking of a raid on the dungeon up to level 88, though there is a small distraction. Level 88 is the main level where all of the organization is. Delta explained.

"Is that so?" Dan muttered to himself, before saying, "I'm in no condition to fight, but a simple scouting mission shouldn't be too hard." Just like when they first met Echo, he started punching the air as if he was going to conjure up a storm with his fists.

"Alright then" Delta said as he handed him a teleportation crystal "Use it when your ready to go, you'll be teleported to a camp with Cassey in command, don't cause a mess.

"Gotcha," Dan said clearly, rearing to go. He raised up the crystal and was transported to a camp in an open area. Very quickly, he found Cassey and informed her of his scouting mission.

"Alright then, your apart of group B, get ready, you'll be scouting the southern part of the level.". They where camped in a middle of what looked like a wasteland, small shrubbery was around, but the most amazing thing was the size of the moon and a thousand stars that light up the desolate landscape.

"Thanks for the update, I'm off!" Dan said cheerily as he went off to go scout the area. Later into the night, he saw a large building complex in the middle of a sand dune, inconspicuous, but strangely hidden from view. He fell to a prone position and looked for any guards, but there were none. Dan got up and turned tail, running back to report to Cassey.

Casey nods her head " Go investigate, it bring two scouts with you" she said as Gamma and another scout came up ready to go

"Got it. You two, follow me." Dan led them to the same facility, but some guards had come out for their nightly patrol. "You go that way," Dan said to the scout as he pointed left. "Gamma, you're with me."

Gamma though instead went towards the entrance, as two bodyguards saw him but where easily taken down.

Dan followed close behind, the two of them entering the facility. "So far so good..." Dan muttered, glancing around the building. "The interior could use some work though." He chucked to himself as he dispatched a guard silently, choking him out.

Gamma walked up to some large door and put in a code for the keypad. And the door surprisingly opened.

Inside, there was a large room and Dan looked around to find out what it was used for. "Yo Gamma, check this out," he called out as he tossed an object towards him.

Gamma caught the object.

"It seems like a drug of some kind..." Dan said to him. "It might give some added buffs or a special status effect." Dan looked around for more syringes of the liquid.

Gamma Instarted it into him with out a second thought.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Dan exclaimed, "We don't know what's in that thing!" Dan watched for a moment, but there seemed to be no immediate adverse affects.

"It's weak" Gamma said,  "They probably tried to copy Rain but failed"

"Rain?" Dan looked puzzled, clueless about what Gamma was talking about. "What is that, a similar type of drug?

"It was the drug I used before, Delta knocked me out." Gamma explained " It's capable of enhancing a player abilities by at least 100%. The one I used though was more concentrated, the more concentrated it is the higher percentage of increase through, you run the risk of overdose, leading to death.

"Whew, I'm glad Delta was there then," Dan said as he breathed a sigh of relief. "You probably would've won that fight by a land slide."

"Delta would've been there regardless, he hates it when I - we take any form of concentrated Rain" He says, before remembering something "Did you know that his friend died of overdose, or more like Delta was forced to kill him because of that"

"That's terrible..." Dan said apologetically, "My condolences, but we really should get going." He walked past the syringes and through another set of large double doors.

Gamma nods, then follows Dan.

In this room, there was something different. Multiple players were chained up, with large tubing coming from multiple arteries in their bodies, liquid flowing through them. They writhed and struggled against their bonds, but to no avail. "What the..." Dan gasped. "Gamma, your take on this?"

" Alive. Hurting. Player Experimantation. This isn't the organizations handiwork" Gamma answered
