EDIT: Drawing Tutorial Date has been moved from Dec. 10 to an undecided date.


We'll be covering some sketching "techniques". They're just mental notes I remember as I doodle.

As it is, I'll let you guys know that I will be giving some quick examples of:


  • Face anatomy (Haha! This is anime.... it's all about big eyes and pointy noses, right? If you're going for a "How to Draw Manga!" style, sure. Drawing is all about developing and crafting your style; experiment with all sorts of shapes and features! Circles! Ovals! Squares! Dodecagons!)
  • Facial Expressions (Master the Eyebrows!)
  • Some Character Designing



Lastly, we'll be working on Genos from One Punch Man. We'll focus on his body armor and his hedgehog burrow of hair.

We may be able to squeeze in Saitama or... Jojo Joestar from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

And as a bonus, I've included tonight's sketch-- Queen Mara Sov from Bungie's Destiny. Hopefully this will give you just a hint of what style I'll be imposing on you guys next week haha.
