What's your favorite J-POP artist?

Like the title says, what is your favorite J-POP artist? It can be a group, solo artist, visual kei, etc. I'm looking forward too seeing what you guys and gals like! (BTW, I'm using J-POP as an umbrella term for everything, It would be more correct for me to say J-Music)

SID Definitely, since they're melodies are gorgeous. The only thing that bothers me is that Mao overdoes the vibrato.

LiSA Of course. Her songs are beautiful and just simple. Makes me cry.
Rookiez is Punk'd I dunno. Their openings are just great, for Durarara and Bleach.
D-TechnoLife This group is the group that got me into louder music. It's dramatic and just epic.
Uverworld Same ^^^^
V6 Old group, but I dunno. Like their music.
Nazo no Shin Unit Starmen This group cracks me up. It's just hilarious hearing each voice actor sing.


Okay now individual singers...

Miyano Mamoru. No debate, this guy has an amazing singing voice and also has an incredibly sexy voice that is usually paired with an incredibly sexy face wot. Amazing singer.
Yusa Koji. He just has a signature voice that makes people go asdofhsdofhoi I KNOW HIM

At the moment, my favorite band is probably One OK Rock because Taka has some amazing vocals and my favorite solo singer is probably Takanori Nishikawa because T.M. Revolution man.

I gotta contribute so.....

AKB48-MY FAVORITE GROUP. Not because they're the best singers, or the best dancers, but because they are so amazing; loving the fans, juggling school and college, they have an aura that I can't explain!



Morning Musume- Good group overall, and similar in concept to AKB in the fact that they rotate members out every couple years or so. Their more recent songs such as Ai no Gundan and One, Two, Three are definitely worth a listen.




B'z - Ahh, yes, my favorite J-ROCK group. B'z has a great vocalist and guitarist (Koshi Inaba and Tak Matsumoto respectively) and many of their songs are amazing in my opinion. Check out Ultra soul and Into Free Dangan!
