Sword Art Online Roleplay: Equalization

As Dan defeated the enemies around him, he heard a familiar voice cry out in pain, and he ran towards it full speed. He broke into a cold sweat and whispered in his mind, "Please let Meifeng be alright, please let Meifeng be alright," repeatedly in his head. The smoke soon thinned out and as he broke through, he was left with a scarring image. Meifeng was held aloft by a man in a dark cloak, his hand firmly rooted on her throat. The mysterious assailant menacingly said in a terrifyingly deep voice, "Oh, so this is your teacher, hmm? You should be ashamed, keeping such a beautiful woman to yourself, but I guess you can't do anything about that now." He laughed for a bit and then said darkly, " Now. She. Belongs. To. ME!" He said, enunciating every word, and continued his laughing.

Dan wanted to floor this guy, beat him, kill him, but he knew he couldn't. The boxer knew Meifeng was strong than him, and he knew that whoever could break or dislocate all of his master's limbs wasn't to be messed with. Coupled by the man's incredible aura, Dan stayed back.

Meifeng knew she couldn't fight back, but she could give him one last "screw you". During his laugh, she used her last reserves of energy to spit at him, and it hit him straight in the eye. "I don't belong to you, you steroid ridden beast! There's plenty of men better than you, and there's one standing over there!"

The cloaked man seethed with anger, and his grip became increasingly tighter as he yelled, "I thought you were an elegant woman! I thought you were sophisticated! But you know what? You're just a dirty animal."

Meifeng felt her health bar inch down closer to zero, and she accepted that she was going to die. Her health bar hit zero, but in the slight delay before turning into pixels, she mouthed, "Bye." to Dan. The boxer's teacher was no more, just a mass of pixels floating in the wind.

Yuki saw Connie as the smoke cleared. She was on the ground seemingly busy with something. Though it didn't look quite right. When he go closer her saw what was the matter her health bar was inching lower and lower to zero. He ran to her and she looked at him straight in the eyes, handed him a booklet. She lifted her self a bit and whisper something into his ear. For Delta he was about to break again. Connie closed her eyes and then her body dissapeared in a wave of pixels. Yukikaze looked at his inventory and saw that she sent messages to people, and transferred the majority of her unique items to him. He closed his eyes and for the first time in in two years he cried.

Upon Meifeng's death, multiple of her items clanged to the ground, as if they were a drop from a monster. Curious, the cloaked man inspected them carefully, "Ooh, unique items! My kill, my loot! Let's see... great stats, flavor text... a 'drop on death' effect for all of them! Looks like little miss China was planning to get ki-,"

A fist collided with the mysterious attacker, as he was sent flying and crashed through a multitude of trees. Dan chased after him, shouting, "Don't touch those! You don't have the right!" The boxer followed up with a clinch, and hammered on a series of repeated shots to the body, cracking and breaking bones with each hit. The man fell backwards but Dan's sense of justice didn't let him as he threw a powerful right into his face, cracking his cheekbones. When the deed was done, Dan left him with a measly 10 health, not wanting to take out such disgusting trash. He walked over to the place where Meifeng's items had dropped, and he picked them up with his bloodied hands, hugging them close to his chest. "Why?" He sobbed, hot tears streaming down his face. He shouted angrily at the sky, as if he thought he could bring her back if he willed so, but there was no turning back from the face of death.
