Amidst all the panic and flurry of activity around the S.A.F.E.U. headquarters, Blake was sitting crosslegged in the teleportation room, waiting and happily humming to himself. In his hands lay the entwined string for a Cat's Cradle game, its strands twisting into intricate shapes and patterns. He was waiting for his teammates to arrive and take over their morning shift, as the night patrol had already returned half an hour before. "I wonder where they are... They're so slow~" The man mused aloud before letting his grimy toes tug away at the strings and form a new pattern, his appendages serving as a substitute for another player.

Amy walked into the room, as she looked a little pale. Memories from her ancestor flashed in her mind about an hour ago prompting her to go puke. She seen many dead thing in her life but those memories where just awful to think about. Though at least they stopped for a while. " Morning" she greeted at a Blake

Blake's eyes lit up with delight at the sight of hs teammate walking in. "Mornin' Ames~!" He sang before turning around to look at her from his position. His arms were extended out as he held out the cat's cradle towards her. "Could you pull on these two strings please? I can't reach them with my toes..."

"Hey everyone!" Kurt said cheerfully as he strolled in casually. "Amy, you're looking lovely as always, and did you do something different with your hair?" He turned to Blake and smiled, "Hey Blake! I hear you needed another person? These two strings right?" He tugged on the two strings and Blake seemed happy. Masamune was a master of diplomacy, and Kurt seemed good at being charismatic as well.

"Thanks Kurt, you're the best!" Blake chortled as he made the last finishing touches on the cat's cradle's final phase. "Now, onto the quiz~!" He announced, leaping up to his full height and displaying the string's arrangement to his teammates. "Can this complicated cat's cradle be untangled or can it not be untangled? That is the question." The redhead awaited their responses with an eager look.

Amy looked at it carefully before deciding. " Yes, it can be untangled"

"I'm gonna have to agree with Amy here on this one," Kurt said confidently. Truth is, he didn't really know anything about Cat's cradles.

"Ding Ding! That is correct!" Blake cried as he suddenly slipped his hands out of the strands and the cat's cradle collapsed into one fell swoop. Only the loop of string remained between his middle fingers, suspended.

From overhead, a loudspeaker crackled to life "Team Foxtrot, please report to the transportation station immediately. You will be transported to Sector B6 in T minus 30 seconds. I repeat, Team Foxtrot please report to the transportation station immediately." As if on cue, the mechanical doors in the room slid open to reveal an elevator-like shaft with a platform connected to a multitude of wires and electronic ray beams. The machine buzzed softly.

Whooping with joy, the tall man trapiezed his way to the station and plopped himself down onto the platform. "Time for some cut-cut dicing action! Hurry up guys!"

Isabelle scowled to herself as she made her way down the cracked sidewalk towards civilization. Her comrades and she were currently hiding out around the outskirts of town, trying to avoid detection from S.A.F.E.U. for their attempts to hijack the broadcasting system. Fortunately, their hideout was inconspicuous and comfortable for an abandoned apartment. Unfortuantely for them, there was no food in the apartment and the nearest grocery store was nearly 30 minutes away by foot. And there was no way in hell she could teleport her way there, lest she would be confronted by S.A.F.E.U. agents.

Grunting, Isabelle finally stepped through the holographic doors of the grocery store, only to be faced with a jumbled mess of characters flashing before the display screens of the store. "Great, I knew I should've taken Japanese instead of French..." She thought sarcastically before snatching a basket to start shopping in the Japanese market. "I sure hope that I can at least find a carrot or some cabbage in this mess."

"Alright, let's get out there and do our job!" Kurt said enthusiastically. "I hope there'll be some action this time!" Kurt followed closely behind Blake, and stood inside the teleporter. "Amy, what's the hold up?" He called out.

"Miss Isabelle!" Jin called out over the bustle of the store. "I though that you might need help shopping, since you can't read Japanese." Jin smiled brightly as he gently took the basket from Isabelle and proceeded to get the food that they needed. Within the hour, they were back on the path back to the hideout. While they were walking, Jin spoke up, "Miss Isabelle, I don't mean to impose, but the next time you go out shopping, please remember to ask me to come too."

Isabelle had felt rather irked at Jin's sudden appearance earlier at the store and and snorted at his request. "Please. Only one of us needs to go and it'll be less suspicious that way. I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself, thanks." She replied with a huff before turning the next corner. "Besides, I could've just asked the clerk for the translation, you know."

On his daily routine to the Japanese Market, he saw two figures leave the store. Following not too far behind, Lass placed his earphones over his ears as he continued walking just 7 feet behind Isabella and Jin.

"If that's the case, then I have full faith in you, Miss Isabelle." Jin replied. From one of the plastic bags he was carrying, an apple had fallen out, rolling behind him. As Jin turned to pick it up, he saw Lass about seven feet away from them. "I'm sorry sir, but may I ask for your name?"

Amy looked distracted for a moment, before going back to the teleportation room, "Sorry" she said as she went off with them.

Right when Jin directed towards him, he stopped immediately. Since he had his headphones on, Lass didn't hear Jin's first response. As a result, he removed his headphones and placed it over his neck. "You have something that belongs to me."

"I'm sorry? I don't quite understand what you're saying," Jin asked back. "Miss Isabelle, do you know what this man's talking about?" Taken aback by the current situation, Jin felt that it was a proper time to draw his spear, feeling that things were going to go downhill.

She could feel her Arcane senses going off as her hands strayed closer to the hem of her short dress. "Don't ask me, I don't anything. Hell I've never seen this brat before," she replied as she suddenly dissapaited in the air surprising the the boy. Isabelle immediately reappeared behind him and buried the muzzle of her machine pistol into his skull. "But I'm sure he can make himself clear now. Speak up, kid. And no more word games from you."

As soon as Amy stepped into the shaft, the doors slid soundlessly behind her and whirled into life. The buzzing sound began to increase in volume and the electronic ray beams glowed in a fluorescent color. "Anyone familiar with Sector B-6? Sounds like it's close to the Empire State Building." Blake asked as the shaft got noisier and hotter, ready to zap them to their location.

"I used to work near that place," Kurt hollered loudly over the sound of the machine. "I'd treat you guys to a drink, but I got fired," he said jokingly. The machine whirred faster now, and in a flash of light, the three of them were transported to their destination.

Jin held the tip of his spear near the the boy's throat, just for good measure. "Please cooperate with us sir." Jin said stoically, his mind fully in battle mode.
