Club T-Shirt Contest (2015-2016)

Design our 2015-2016 club t-shirt!
Post all entries and/or questions in this topic.

Guidelines (Required)
- Must say "Japanimation" and "2015-2016" on it somewhere.
- Include both a Front and Back design.
- Do not use more than 3 colors in the design (excluding the color of the actual t-shirt.) 
- Must be school appropriate. 
- The resolution of your image must be at least 300 dpi.
- Your image must be saved in PNG format.
- Designs should be original, no pictures from the internet (This is to avoid copyright. Don't even thinking about pulling out the "Public Domain" tags on us.) 
-Avoid lots of very thin lines. They won’t show up very well on the t-shirt.

Other Things You Can Use (Optional)
- Our club logo (our usual logo has a blue scheme, but we've found a way to change the logo to any color scheme that will fit the t-shirt design. Please PM "windscimitars" if you want the logo to be recolored.)
- Our club motto: "Embrace Your Inner Otaku"
- Lovelle's quote: "We're not your average anime club..."

Prizes
- 1st Place: 100 EXP + free t-shirt
- Participants: 50 EXP

The deadline for submissions is November 29th @ 11:59 p.m.

I think I might give it a try, few questions though: Are there any specific dimensions the final design should be? A resolution was given, but no proportions. Also, I noticed everything from last year's contest was in RGB, should we be using RGB? CMYK is usually standard for print.

Hi kyoukokyoko, sorry for the late response! I had to contact our t-shirt designer and our previous club president for the specs of the t-shirts. I ended up getting vague responses, so I apologize if they aren't clear enough>.<

Design Dimensions: Both Erin and our designer did not give me specific proportions for the t-shirt designs, but I suggest something 700+ pixels wide/tall as the final product. That way, when you zoom into the picture, its mostly very clear and smooth and its easy to re-size the designs on the t-shirts.

Color Modes: Our t-shirt designer isn't too concerned whether or not the designs are in RGB or CMYK. He's more concerned about the designs being vector art, but he says to send in whatever designs and we'll talk more about it when the deadline for the t-shirts come around. My guess is, just stick with RGB and try to see if you can vector the designs using auto-tracer on Adobe Illustrator. (If you don't have access to illustrator you could always go to the Art Room and ask if you could borrow the computers to vector your image ^^)

OK so this is my submission for the t-shirt contest. This is my design but I can go back and change the colors so you can choose which one you like best. I settled for this one.

Also, side note I did my pictures in 3000x2000 pixels so I can give the actual files if needed.
